A Busy Week!

What a busy week it has been....it was school vacation week...the funny thing is, we didn't go anywhere...our van never left the garage!!! But we were busy! We did all the things this week that you shouldn't......played the Wii too much, watched too much TV, ate too much clearance chocolate from Valentine's Day, stayed in our jammies all day long and relaxed! It was nice! Yesterday we have a storm that brought us over a foot of snow....a good excuse to stay home! I had a chance to scrap a lot this week. I have a big project going on....will save that for another post..it's pretty exciting!!!! Here is a page that I did last night....my first fantasy page! I have always admired fantasy pages, but always thought they would be too complicated for me to do. Well, I took the plunge and tried it and I am hooked!!! I am longing for Spring and Summer

so that I can get more pics to try more!

My Sweet Boy!

I love to take pictures....I love it even more that Carter loves to have his picture taken! He is a sweet little boy with a huge personality! I love him so much!

Jacob's First School Spirit Day

Jacob had his first school spirit day yesterday! He got up and put on his BCES t-shirt and sweatshirt with pride!!!! He was a happy boy when I put him on the bus!

My Little Valentine

There are a few nice things about February (it is a good thing, because in Maine, February isn't that great of a place to be!): it is a short month and Valentine's Day! I got my first Valentine of the year from Max. Max made the Valentine at nursery school. He was so excited to give it to me. It is a small poster paper with his handprints in the shape of a heart. It has this poem:

This isn't just a Valentine

As you can plainly see

It is of course my handprint

Which is a part of me

It's bigger than the last one

Smaller than the next will be

Given to you with lots of love

From sweet and precious me!

It is so sweet..... but I just can't see me keeping this big poster paper forever! So, I took a picture of the handprints and scrapped a page with it! I actually like how it turned out! I love you Max!

Remember These Moments......

I am slowly working through scrappin' our latest vacation. Got a page done this evening in a Speed Scrap. I really love taking the time to scrap our vacation because it really helps me to remember details that I otherwise may not if I were to just flip through a photo album. Take some time today to remember the moments!

Enjoying My Vacation through Photos.....

I love coming back from a vacation and pouring over the photos. I love looking at them closely really inspecting the faces for different expressions! It makes me happy! I love that my boys are still young enough to like the Disney Princesses...... It was so darn cute how they were talking to them like they really knew them! So sweet!

Joy in Photos.....

I love photos.....I don't know if I have mentioned it before, but I do! They make me happy, they make me smile! I love taking photos and I love looking at photos. I am trying to catch up on my Project 365 because of my little vacation.....tonight I accomplished a lot! I am completely caught up! Now I can focus on my vacation album! I have to share my favorite page from today! Hope it makes you smile as much as it makes me smile!

A Few Good.....Padawans

Anyone who knows me, knows how much I love to vacation.......let me be more specific....I love to vacation at Walt Disney World! We had the pleasure of spending 10 days at the Kingdom this last week. The last couple of days were a surprise because of the bad weather! There is nothing like being "stuck" at Walt Disney World! We had a wonderful time! The boys were so much fun! I love seeing their faces light up when we would tell them our plan for the day! I had to scrap their favorite moment of our vacation first! Here it is.......

So many pictures.....So little time!

Most people know how much I love to take pictures! I go nearly everywhere with my camera! While on vacation I take on average 1,200 pictures. I am sitting here wondering how on Earth I am going to scrap them all! My answer...."One page at a time!" This evening I decided to create a page of Carter and Me! I am making an effort in 2011 to have more pictures taken of myself, because I really don't have that many! I am typically the one taking the pictures! I find it strange to be scrppin' pictures of myself....but feel in time I will get used to it! I hate to cut this post short, but I have LOTS of pictures to scrap!

January.....A Month of Some Great Ordinary Moments!

January 2011 was a month filled with some wonderful times.....some great laughs, a wedding, a vacation and lots of ordinary moments. The ordinary moments I was able to capture on camera because of the Project 365 that I have decided to try! I am so happy I did because I have caught some pretty funny and memorable things in January. I am happy to share my January summed up in one page! Enjoy......we sure did!
