Let the Summer Begin........

It is NO secret that I love Summer in Maine! Our beautiful Maine summers are what keep me living here (I also have family here, LOL, so they are another reason! LOL) It is also NO secret that I cannot stand Maine winters.......so all winter I am longing for summer! I am happy to say that I believe that Summer in Maine has arrived! I couldn't be happier!!!!!!

Happy Memorial Day!

Happy Memorial Day! Today is a day set aside to remember and recognize those who go above and beyond to protect our country! To those people, I say 'Thank You'! I love spending time with my family on holiday weekends and got that opportunity this weekend! Friday night Max had the brilliant idea of going to the beach because it had been such a nice day! We had a blast! Saturday we enjoyed our day by going to see a showing of Kung Fu Panda 2 and yesterday we ended up back at the beach to enjoy the day! It was awesome! The boys love the beach and had such a great time jumping in the 52 degree water and making sand castles. Today is going to be another awesome day of playing outside at home! Have a wonderful day!

My Little Pirate.......

Today I am thankful for the opportunities that my children give me to photography them! My cutest photos seem to come when I am not even looking for them.....in those times where they yell, "Mom, look at me....take a picture." Those words just make my heart sing!!!!

My Max......One of a Kind!

I love 4 year olds.....I especially love my 4 year old! Max is so much fun to be around! He loves to shop, he loves to share his snacks with me, he loves to help me bake, he loves when I play Super Heroes with him......he loves being with me! I try to soak up and enjoy every single moment that My Max wants to be with me!!!! Here are some photos that Max wanted me to take of him!

I am......

I don't have very many pictures of me.....mostly because I am the one the typically is running the camera. I have decided that once a month I am going to scrap a page that includes me in any of the photos that I put on the layout. I started today with a page titled, "I am". Please join me in creating a layout that shows everyone who you are! Have fun!

Project Memories with The Memory Boutique

I am so excited to be a part of Project Memories with The Memory Boutique. Project Memories is a "simple, classic and timeless system sponsored by We R Memory Keepers that will help you preserve your memories in any format: digital, hybrid, printed photos, etc."

I love digital scrappin' because of its no mess and simplicity......so I have always had my projects printed as bound books.....sometimes regretting that I was unable to move my pages around or disappointed that they looked different in print format and unable to remove it from the book. When I realized that there was a quality system out there that was so easy to use, I knew I had to give it a try! I decided to go with an 8x8 black leather album that comes with 10 sleeves: 9 4x6 photo sleeves and 1 page protector. This is an awesome way to combine BOTH my digital scrappin' pages AND regular 4x6 prints. I also got an additional pack of 8x8 protectors. There are 4 sizes of albums to choose from 12x12, 8.5x11, 5.5x8.5 and 8x8. The 8x8 album comes in 6 awesome colors! My boys LOVE to look at our scrapbooks, so I wanted something that was easy for little hands to enjoy that is why I chose the 8x8. I was so excited when my package arrived from The Memory Boutique! I was not the least disappointed in the quality of the album! I was actually blown away by the level of quality!

Of course, you CANNOT get an album with having some prints ordered, too!!!! I ordered the 8x8 photo prints to go into my 8x8 album!!! The packaging was amazing! I have ordered prints from companies before only to have all the corners bent upon arrival....NOT the case here! The prints that I ordered from The Memory Boutique were packaged beautifully and I couldn't be more happy with the print quality! I will be placing an order for more prints this week!!! I am so excited about my project and I am so excited about creating more layouts to have printed for my "Family 2011"album.....I also feel like individual albums for each of my boys is in order! My Shining Stars

I have to admit.....I LOVE pictures with all 3 of my boys together! It doesn't happen very often that I am able to get a picture of them all together, but I just love it when I do! Today was no exception! I was able to convince Max to lay down on his belly and Jacob and Carter decided that it would be something fun to do, too! I was only given time to snap this one photo, but I thought it came out okay considering the time that they gave me to work with!

Another Graduation Layout

Good evening.....I just wanted to share another layout that I did of Paul and me on his graduation day (and my birthday). There aren't many photos of us together, so I was happy to scrap this!

The End of a Long Journey

This weekend marks the end of a very long journey for me and my family. My husband, Paul, graduated from the University of Southern Maine with his Masters Degree in Nursing. He has been a RN for 14 years, but has always felt like he wanted to do more. His journey toward the completion of his degree has been long and we are glad that it is finally over. I had the pleasure of sharing my birthday yesterday with his graduation day! Yesterday also marks another important date.....we have been in our home for 1 year! May 14, 2010 we moved into our home in Buxton. We have had a great year and love our home in Buxton!

Capture the Moment

I love when my children love to have me take their photos! Max is such a fun and silly boy that when I asked him if he would mind showing me all his funny faces so I could photograph him, he jumped at the chance! We had such a good time taking pictures and laughing at his funny faces.....this is something we will be doing more often, I am sure of it!

Nothing More Beautiful than a Sleeping Child

I love to capture great photos......I love even more to capture beautiful photos! I love the beauty in the photo of a sleeping child! Carter was napping on the family room floor the other day and I was able to capture this photo! I love that little boy!!!!

Back to My Regular Posting Schedule

April was a long month of Spring Into Scrappin' with my ABC book of Disney. I put aside my Project 365 for a bit to focus on the completion of my ABC Book. I am done with it and back to scrappin' everyday life!!! It is nice to be back!
